No. Every Triad unit ships pre-configured and tested. You open the case, put on the headset, turn on the probe, and you are scanning. We designed the setup experience to be under five minutes from unboxing to your first scan.

Every Triad comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty covering hardware defects. Because each unit is hand-built, you have direct access to us -- not a call center. If something goes wrong, you talk to the person who built your unit.

Yes. Ultrasound is routinely used on animals by veterinarians. The Triad probe works on dogs, cats, and larger animals. Hobby farmers have found it particularly useful for monitoring livestock pregnancy and general health. Thicker coats may require additional gel.

Triad is not mass-manufactured. Each unit is assembled, configured, calibrated, and tested individually before shipping. This means every device that leaves our hands has been personally verified. Current lead time is roughly 2 weeks from order to delivery.

We offer a two-week return window that starts on the date of delivery. We really do want you to be able to use it for those full two weeks, but we can't dictate when you'll start using it. So the return window begins on the date it is delivered to the delivery address. If Triad does not meet your expectations, return it in its original condition for a refund. Please note that while shipping is included in the purchase price, return shipping and handling are the responsibility of the buyer -- your refund will reflect the product cost minus those original shipping fees. Given the nature of hand-built units, we ask that you contact us before initiating a return so we can address any issues directly first.
